Diy Chicken Coop Pallets
Since the pallet duck house build was a success, we decided to move our egg slaves into the yard this winter and build them a simple coop. the one thing missing in my opinion in a lot of pallet builds is insulating and outside finishes. so here is our version of a pallet chicken coop.. Save time and money by building a pallet chicken coop using one of these ideas to provide your brood with a safe place to live. stylish and eco-friendly, you can build your own chicken coop with recycled wood pallets in just one weekend and start enjoying fresh, organic eggs within days.. Make your diy pallet chicken coop a little bit elevated and off the ground to avoid the insect attacks on wood and also on chicken. just collect every tiny material from home dump and scrap to be reused creatively in this chicken house this material can include the windows and old doors and the old home knickknack accessories..
Pallets=free wood! so consider this inspiration for making a diy chicken coop from pallets. here’s what i did: step 1: i knew i wanted this up off the ground, so i needed to cut some “legs”. cut 2x4s 18″ long, and screw two pieces together to make a square post. do this 4 times, attach these “legs” to the base of a full pallet.. Having built a chicken coop before, this free pallet chicken coop plan is a second attempt to build a coop, which is more elegant and functional. although it is not so large, it includes a door for a human to walk in, plus it includes a run for the chicken to spend time in, which is covered in chicken wire.. Screw a piece of wood to the roof to connect the two pallet walls. then add two additional pieces of wood to either side of the pallet walls. then use wood to build a door frame in the middle. fill in the gaps in the door frame with chicken wire. then you can actually build a coop door if you have any excess wood..
